About

Learn how to deliver safe, effective HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) treatments with confidence. This training covers client consultation and suitability, facial anatomy basics, device settings, treatment mapping, step-by-step protocols, contraindications, aftercare, and results management—so you can perform treatments professionally and consistently. In this course the machine is included also the materials that will be used. Module 1: HIFU Technology Overview What is HIFU: High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) uses focused sound waves to generate localized heat (60-70°C) beneath the skin. How it Works: The intentional thermal damage causes coagulative necrosis, which triggers a natural wound-healing response. This stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen (neocollagenesis), resulting in tighter, lifted skin and reduced fat. Module 2: Anatomy and Physiology Target Layers: HIFU safely bypasses the skin's surface to target the deeper dermis, subcutaneous fat, and connective tissues. The SMAS Layer: The Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System (SMAS) maintains facial structural integrity. Deeper HIFU treatments (4.5mm) target the SMAS to create a natural lifting effect. Module 3: Health, Safety, and Client Suitability Suitability: Ideal candidates have mild to moderate skin laxity, wrinkles, or localized body fat. Contraindications: Do not treat pregnant clients, active skin infections, severe acne/eczema, or areas with metal implants. Safety: Devices feature emergency stops, real-time monitoring, and cooling systems to protect the skin from burns. Module 4: HIFU Machine Operation Core Components: The machine consists of a control unit, an ergonomic handpiece, and a transducer that converts electrical energy into ultrasound waves. Cartridges: Interchangeable cartridges dictate the precise depth of ultrasound penetration (e.g., superficial dermis vs. subcutaneous tissue). Module 5: Treatment Areas and Protocols
